Today I took a taxi to a school not far from my home. As always the traffic was full-on with honking, chaotic driving, and jams everywhere. I live in India and it is extremely difficult to get from A to B without going crazy. This morning I picked my motivational energy card, I am one with all, and thought the opposite – I didn’t want to be one with the crazy stuff out there at all!
So I closed my eyes, tried to ignore the noise and breathe deeply. Slowly I managed to detach myself and went deeper and deeper into a meditative state until I almost heard no sounds at all. Luckily this taxi driver was driving smoothly, not hitting the breaks every 5 seconds only to speed up again. It was not the best meditation I’ve ever had, but it did prevent me from getting angry during the ride. And when I arrived, I was not frustrated or exhausted thanks to the meditation.

It really works
Actually this is one of my favorite cards in the deck, it promises the state we are all looking for – To float in the oneness – a state beyond the here and now which transcends our perception of reality. For me, it seems oneness with all take place within ourselves and meditation is the key, but sometimes it works better than other times.

This week is time for meditation practice, the key to inner peace. Sit for 10 minutes every day just by yourself and dive into the quiet. Close your eyes, focus on the crown of your head and breathe deeply.
