Relationships are our mirror
The essential elements in our life are relationships. Not just with others, also with ourselves. That is a lot to manage. We have to interact with ourselves all the time and with the people and the world around us. It is a very emotional task, and we grow through these interactions and the energy of love the most.
It all starts within ourselves and how we project our emotions into the world. We can ask ourselves if we are full of distrust and defense, or love and trust? What do we reflect out into the world, and what do we expect back? But it is hard to admit that our internal relationship creates our outward experiences. It hurts, and it is easier to blame our parents, friends, and everything else if things don’t go smooth.
But once we get out of this cycle of blaming and feelings of guilt, the real work has begun, and we can liberate ourselves from the victim role. Maybe the underlying feelings will never go away, but you can observe them and react accordingly, and know that there is still work to do in your heart.
Love and confidence
The center of your feelings and projections is the heart chakra. It is located in your chest area and upper back. It unites the lower and upper chakras, which means it deals with our instinctive behavior and our conscious actions and response to them.
The energy of love and peace is the answer to many problems but not always manageable. If our emotions go crazy and are not stable, relationships with ourselves and the world around us are in distress, and we tend to attract a lot of negativity. It is our responsibility to work on it and feel peaceful and confident again.
The outcomes of a loving and healthy heart chakra are positive emotions and working relationships with ourselves and others.
There are some ways to tune into this energy point. First of all, acknowledge the fact that this energy point is your consciousness and your belief system. You can benefit from this energy immensely if you follow a few steps and rules:
- visualize it
- recognize it
- love it
- feel the peace
- tune into it
- work with it
- activate it
Start to visualize a bright green subtle ball on the center of your chest. Think that it is an entry point where energy flows into your body and the energy field around you. Establish a connection to this point and concentrate on your workout.
Exercises that will activate your heart chakra
The most suitable exercise to activate the heart chakra is a combination of all four major training types, like cardio, strength: flexibility, and relaxation. Start with cardio, then continue with the other three training types. Pay particular attention to do exercises for targeting the chest area.
Elbow press & Hand press
Bridge dip & push-ups
Chest stretch & Shoulder stretch

For yourself and others
The work with the heart chakra is for relationships with others and yourself. It is about how you want to react to emotions and receive reactions. The heart is the key to grow emotionally and mature towards confidence and generosity.
